About
Maloy M. Moore
I use they/them pronouns and identify as nonbinary and queer.

I acknowledge the larger systems of oppression that disproportionately affect minoritized folks such as people of color, LGBTQIA+ people, polyamorous relationships, non-traditional family structures, and anyone else whose existence threatens the capitalist patriarchy in which we exist. I work as a marriage and family therapist associate, and treat people relationally.

My philosophy is that healing cannot happen in isolation. I have three years of experience working with children, teens, couples, families, and individuals. I have experience working with advocacy around sexual assault and domestic violence. I welcome neurodivergent clients. I advocate for my clients whenever possible, and can support people working through trauma and loss. I practice narrative therapy, where together we can deconstruct and create narratives of self, the world, and healing. Therapy can change the world by creating cultures of care, growth, and accountability.

I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Gender Queer Studies at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. I fell in love with the Pacific North West, and I've been living here for almost ten years now. I graduated at the top of my class with a Marriage and Family Therapy Master's degree from Pacific Lutheran University in Parkland, Washington. In my personal life, I enjoy baking bread and making tasty meals as well as playing Dungeons and Dragons and other table top games. I have three wonderful cats who I love dearly.
